5. Post Festival Blues
When the last song finishes, and the lights go down the realisation hits you that the festival has come to an end. This feeling never gets any easier. You go from having the time of your life with your best friends to having to walk back to the campsite knowing you're leaving the next morning.
However, it isn’t all bad news as you still have one more fun filled night left at the campsite with all your camping friends. Everyone's spirits are always still high at this point as it is a very enjoyable evening.
Waking up on Monday morning and having to pack up your tent is dreadful. Seeing everyone around you leaving and knowing you’ll probably never see them again is never nice, especially those who you have created friendships with throughout the festival.
Once all your belongings are packed up the dreaded walk back to the gate begins. It’s at this point you just want home to your bed. However, due to Creamfields being in England you can’t quite just magically arrive back home. Due to being exhausted and severely hungover the journey home usually consists of lots of sleep.
After travelling back home, the first thing on my agenda is going straight for a proper shower. This is well and truly needed after sleeping in a tent in the middle of a field for multiple days. After I’m showered, I usually devour a lovely home cooked meal which certainly makes a change from the food truck food. After dinner I head straight to bed and as you can imagine as soon as my head hits the pillow it’s game over.

Post festival blues is truly a real feeling which just goes to show how good the whole experience is and the fact you feel down when leaving goes to show what an amazing time you have had.
But don’t worry, just start the countdown until next year and it’ll be here before you know it!
